Now working in Paris for haute couture houses, she ensures old passementerie is kept alive. Passementerie is the art of making elaborate trimmings or edgings of braided metallic cords, embroidery, coloured silk or beads and used as embellishment on furnishings. This technique is used extensively in Waddesdon.
