Chateau Duhart-Milon 2009, Grand Cru Classé Pauillac (Special offer)
£150.00£110.00 Buy The 2009 vintage was considered superb for Bordeaux, and Duhart Milon performed brilliantly creating a modern classic. The nose kicks off with copious amounts of cassis and juicy black cherry leading to smoky leather, cedar, cigar box and classic minerality. This is a huge Duhart with lashings of generous black fruit and peppery oak influence. This not a classic example of the estate – it’s a much more full on version but absolutely delicious nonetheless! -

Pauillac Special Reserve 2016, Magnum, A.C. Pauillac
£75.00 Buy The 2016 harvest brought together all the key ingredients for a fabulous vintage. DBR Lafite have produced a rich yet precise Pauillac, similar in style to the 1990 vintage. Lafite rarely does exuberance, true to form the aroma needs coaxing from the glass. After a few minutes there's cool blackberry coulis, warm slate, fresh tobacco, cedar, violets and graphite. The palate is compact and concentrated with fine tannins. You can feel the quality, but it is slightly reserved in the mid-palate. Whilst it offers very enjoyable drinking you can't help feel its best days lay ahead. It is very 'Lafite' in style and typical of the vintage. Patience will be rewarded. -
