Waddesdon named as one of the most-Instagrammed National Trust properties

Waddesdon Manor has been named as the fifth most-Instagrammed National Trust location in the UK in a new study.

The study by MyJobQuote analysed the UK’s National Trust location hashtags on Instagram, and ranked the top 20 most picture-worthy according to the platform’s users.

While Corfe Castle in Dorset secured the top spot, Waddesdon, the Rothschild House & Gardens in Buckinghamshire, was recorded to have been tagged 40,210 times, deeming it one of the best locations in the country for that perfect Instagram picture. It is the only property in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to make the top 20.

With travels abroad looking unlikely this summer, Waddesdon offers domestic tourists an opportunity to find France in the Chilterns, with the 19th-century manor drawing inspiration from the châteaux of the Loire Valley. Visitors can share their images on Instagram using #MyWaddesdon, or tagging @waddesdonmanor_nt
