Schools Access Fund

Waddesdon and the Rothschild Foundation are delighted to jointly launch a new fund to subsidise and promote learning sessions for schools in Buckinghamshire.

The Schools Access Fund looks to encourage new school audiences to experience Waddesdon and to take part in the Learning Department’s workshops and projects. Schools can apply for a grant to cover some or all of the cost of a visit to Waddesdon of up to £750 and can bring any number of pupils. The aim is to support well-being, enhance creative learning and enrich how schools teach the arts curriculum.

Visits will take place in the academic year starting in September 2021 and can focus on the heritage of the Manor or take place in Waddesdon’s outdoor spaces.

Since school closures have significantly disrupted education and external visits have been restricted during the coronavirus pandemic, the Schools Access Fund has been set up to support learning and nurture the well-being of students.

Applications are done on a rolling basis and will be open from 12 April 2021 to the end of the following Easter holiday on 24 April 2022. Find out more details >
