Unfortunately due to the current Covid-19 situation and social distancing guidelines we have decided to put all recruitment of volunteers on hold. We would love to welcome you to Waddesdon in the coming months once we’re able to.
Example roles

Education assistant
Education assistants help with running our education programmes for school children. They also help prepare and participate in our family events held throughout the year.

Conservation Raffle ticket seller
Our dedicated raffle ticket sellers approach visitors in a courteous and friendly way to sell raffle tickets to raise money both for conservation the National Trust and Waddesdon.

Weekday gardener
Support the gardens team, taking part in a range of horticultural activities across the Manor Garden, the Dairy, Five Arrows Hotel and Windmill Hill.

Aviary assistant
Contribute to the survival of rare and endangered bird species, cared for in our on-site Aviary. As well as looking after the daily upkeep of the birds, educate our visitors about what we are trying to achieve.

Events volunteer
Help out with our major event programme throughout the year, from family activities to our popular special events. You could be working at Summer Fest or Christmas, making sure visitors get the most out of their experience.

Grounds champion
Help visitors by providing directional information and a friendly face to answer questions. Grounds Champions’ will help to keep the grounds looking immaculate and presentable for our visitors. You may also contribute to selling raffle tickets which raises funds towards preserving Waddesdon’s collections.
